Everyone has a general understanding of what it means to be sexually healthy. Most people believe it is using protection during sexual acts or making sure the chances of an infection are low. But are you really sexually healthy because you think you are or because you know you are. Here some ways to know if you are sexually healthy

You are sexually healthy if;

  • You are up-to-date on your care and educational information

  • Your sexuality goes beyond sexual behaviors

  • You are making efforts to prevent STIs and pregnancies

  • You are educated enough to know the difference between right and wrong information pertaining to sexual health

  • You know when and where to seek help for STIs

  • You can express your concerns about sexual health with your partner

  • You can avoid sexually risky behaviors

  • You know the importance of consent, communication, physical and mental health in regards to sexual relationships.

Of course, we won't give you more information so that you can conduct your own research. But till then, keep in contact with us on our Instagram at @Thestip_guide, on Twitter at @TheSTI_guide or by email at miamisexualhealth@gmail.com.
